Hero MotoCorp की नई पेशकश – Vida VX2 – आखिरकार इंडिया में लॉन्च हो चुकी है, और हमने इसका first ride experience किया। इस electric scooter को लेकर काफी buzz था क्योंकि ये Hero की EV category में entry को और मजबूत करता है, especially entry-level urban riders के लिए। लेकिन क्या VX2 वाकई उन expectations पर खरा उतरता है?

Design & Build – Compact लेकिन Smart

Vida VX2 का design simple yet practical है। ये scooter छोटे और mid-size Indian शहरों को ध्यान में रखकर बनाया गया है। इसका compact look पहली नजर में थोड़ा basic लग सकता है, लेकिन इसका urban charm जल्दी ही नजर आने लगता है।
Front side में LED headlamp और indicators काफी decent दिखते हैं। Side panels minimal हैं, लेकिन काफी मजबूत feel देते हैं। VX2 का overall build काफी solid है – Hero ने अच्छी quality plastic और paint finish का इस्तेमाल किया है।
Seat height और ground clearance भी city riders के लिए perfect हैं – ना ज्यादा ऊंचा, ना बहुत low। ये scooter महिलाओं और first-time riders के लिए भी comfortable रहेगा।
Performance – Silent लेकिन Strong
Vida VX2 में 3.9kW का electric motor मिलता है जो लगभग 6bhp की power देता है। इसका pickup city traffic के लिए काफी अच्छा है। हमने इसे bumper-to-bumper traffic, flyovers और open roads पर चलाकर देखा – कहीं भी struggle महसूस नहीं हुआ।
0-40 km/h acceleration काफी quick है, और Eco, Ride और Sport तीनों modes practical लगे।

Hero ने VX2 की top speed 55 km/h रखी है, जो city use के लिए ठीक है। हां, highway पर थोड़ी power की कमी महसूस हो सकती है, लेकिन ये scooter long rides के लिए नहीं बना है।
Battery & Range – Removable Battery है Game-Changer
VX2 की सबसे बड़ी strength है इसकी dual removable battery system. हर battery 1.5kWh की है, और दोनों मिलकर scooter को 110 km की claimed range देती हैं (Eco mode में)।
Charging भी simple है – आप घर पर normal socket से battery निकालकर charge कर सकते हैं।

Removable battery का फायदा ये है कि आपको पूरे scooter को charging point तक ले जाने की जरूरत नहीं है।
Ride Quality & Comfort – Daily Use के लिए Perfect
VX2 की suspension setup Indian roads को ध्यान में रखकर किया गया है। Front telescopic forks और rear dual shocks potholes को अच्छे से absorb करते हैं।
Braking system में front और rear दोनों drum brakes दिए गए हैं – जो beginners के लिए safe और manageable हैं।
Scooter की seat cushion soft है, और footboard काफी spacious लगा – चाहे rider हो या pillion।
Features – Basic लेकिन काम के
Vida VX2 में Hero ने बहुत ज्यादा fancy features नहीं दिए हैं, लेकिन जरूरी चीजें मौजूद हैं:

Price – Budget के अंदर, Worth It?
Hero Vida VX2 की ex-showroom कीमत लगभग ₹97,800 रखी गई है (FAME II subsidy के बाद)। कुछ राज्यों में EV subsidy के कारण actual price और भी कम हो सकता है।
इस price range में VX2 का मुकाबला सीधे TVS iQube 2.2kWh variant, Bounce Infinity E1 और Ola S1X से है। लेकिन Hero का dealership network और after-sales support इसे अलग advantage देता है।
Verdict – Kya Vida VX2 Leaderboard Pe Pahunch Payega?
अगर आप ek reliable, low-maintenance और budget-friendly electric scooter ढूंढ रहे हैं, तो Hero Vida VX2 एक strong contender है। इसकी build quality, removable battery और decent city performance इसे एक अच्छा option बनाते हैं।
Highway performance या top-end speed में ये scooter थोड़ी पीछे रह सकती है, लेकिन इसके main target audience – daily office goers, students, और delivery riders – के लिए ये perfect fit है।
